My wife and I were introduced to Alfredo and Claudia in 2001. We had purchased a lot in Castillo de Arena on the East Cape and were looking to interview contractors to build our home. Alfredo came highly recommended. We interviewed Alfredo and other contractors and, after the interviews, we chose Alfredo to do the job. He drew up very detailed plans with elevations so we could see all that was going to happen. We were very impressed with the breakdown he did for materials, quantities, costs, and time frame to complete our project. This breakdown was the determining factor that went into our decision to choose Alfredo. Alfredo assembled a competent and well disciplined crew to do our project. He oversaw all aspects of the construction and probably the most amazing fact regarding the construction is this was all done before any of today’s stores, Home Depot, Wal Mart, Costco, etc. were in Baja. The construction was completed as planned and on time with not one power tool or cement truck available. The results were unbelievable.

Dawn and I retained Alfredo Gomez to build our home on the east cape based on a referral from a friend. When we mentioned our decision to Joan, the owner of the country club restaurant in Vinorama she said “oh yes Alfredo is the best”. A very strong statement from someone who hears all the complaints and praises about east cape builders. Our building pad was on a severe slope and required major retaining walls. I’m happy to report there is not a single crack in the concrete anywhere. Alfredo was extremely responsive to our requests in the planning and execution stage of the project. In one instance Dawn was not happy with a stair case leading to the front door. We asked Alfredo to modify it and it was quickly replaced with one that suited our tastes perfectly. Many of our neighbors have said ours is the nicest home in the neighborhood. It is largely so because of Alfredo and his team. I would use him again without hesitation.

We are so happy with how our home on the East Cape turned out – it is exactly what we were hoping for and more. We listened to friends talk about what a challenge building a home in Mexico can be, but we had just the opposite experience. We were almost sad to be done. They both were constantly pushing for quality and productivity and that is exactly what we received. Their crew worked hard and were skilled and so accommodating to us. We would highly recommend Alfredo And Claudia to our friends and family, or anyone who asks about our building process. They were on time and on budget, and always there for us. Our expectations were met or exceeded every step of the way! We know that to accomplish what they did for us, required extra hard work and many sacrifices on their part. Our building project began with interviewing several building contractors in the San Jose del Cabo area.
